Swahili Blues Band is a group of friends who have been playing together since 2010 on Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Their songs tell stories of culture, politics, migration, inequality and love. Swahili Blues Band honored the regional stages: Sauti za Busara from Zanzibar in 2012 and 2015, Bayimba International Festival - Uganda in 2013 and DOADOA Festival in 2015. They are currently in the studio for the recording of their first album.
